Xiaomi going to unveil the new smartphone series in China on 21 June 2019  the name of two new series is MICC9 and MICC9e and these smartphone using the meitu's hardware team a company hired by xiaomi in 2018. Weibo account of meitu's shared some post related to xiaomi new launches a social post shared by xiaomi executives and CEO Lei Jun.

Both phones MICC9 and MICC9e  are selfie-focused phones and using meitu's camera technology 

phones coming with Snapdragon 730 SoC and will be motorized camera setup like Zenphone 6 and Asus 6Z
